Little do you know that when someone helps another person, it makes the person that was helped want to help someone else. The fact of the matter is that once you help one person it gives you a kind of happy feeling and you want to do it even more. Thats why some people like joining groups that help others no matter what it is. For instance, I am a boy scout and I like to help people even though there might be something wrong with them or some kind of obstacle to overcome. There are things that we did not want to do but we did it anyway and we benefited from it still. No matter what the task was we always ended up helping out others and ourselves at the same time. When you help someone you feel how great to help someone and then that person will see how it feels to be helped and pay it forward. The only thing left is to go out and help others even though they might not show that they need help. It is a good way to live your life. Just remember once you help someone, they will help someone else and the chain keeps on going.
This is just something some should see.

I completely agree. Helping others does give you a great feeling, but it also does so much more than that. Yes it helps them in their situation, but it also helps them on a deeper level. It shows people that others care about them and it has a positive effect on their lives. They begin to have a better out look on life and then they themselves may in return start to care about the well being of others. Thus, starting the cycle again in everyone said person encounters. I am also an Eagle scout, and I am glad to see that you finished your scouting journey.

ReplyDeleteThe power of helping has a source I still do not understand. The world karma came into my head when you mention the chain of helping others. I believe karma is a charger (a monster who rams at you. Some people believe it only attacks people who are the most selfish at the most critical moment. It is from a video game), treat people nice and they rarely appear. Treat people horribly or ditch them for no reason, it appears to get that person specifically and beats him/her to the ground. I know this sounds weird but this is how I see karma. I treat people nice and never do anything I am going to regret. Karma chargers do get me at times to only remind me that I should be more careful on my actions.
